Yesterday I had the highest compliment. My manager asked me if I knew anyone else who was looking for a job. I had advised them to hire my most recent coworker, and they wanted to know if I had anyone else up my sleeve: "Someone like you." That was such an awesome compliment. That they wanted my advice, for one thing. And that they wanted their next hire to be just like me, ideally.
